Cost?

This is not necessarily true. Unity is very powerful for how easy it is to quickly develop something… it has a ton of options. However when you build something from the ground up like Dave is doing you can avoid including code which isn’t necessary, resulting in a faster game.

I’m pretty sure I saw somewhere milla or Dave said that (I’m pretty sure milla did) that Dave made his own game engine for the game. Im not exactly an expert on this yet but I believe that he then isn’t using Unity in this case.

#23

That’s correct, Dave is not using Unity.

#26

If I had that much money I wouldn’t buy this game, I’d buy the entire continent of North America.

#27

Id buy north korea ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

#28

Maybe, $30 early-access and $40 launch

I dunno if I’ll buy it. Probably, but if it’s beyond $30, I might not.
But, maybe I will even if it’s beyond that. Especially because Dave made it!

Random poem I made for fun (don't read it—I've warned you)

I once spent ten pieces on a game,
And I regret’d my choice.
Now, bad decisions I’ve made tame.
Then came a voice,
Which said to me, “O Knight of the Blockheads,
Will you ever learn? You must spend your wealth,
So our economy will boom, though methinks with much stealth.”

And thus I thought to myself, "Whatever does this mean?"
The voice came again: “O Knight, O Knight,
'Tis with much joy that I hit you like caffeine,
Your only answer is to be more in a plight.”

“Oh, but I cannot make much sense of this,” I responded.
Then, "You may take in Ambience."
As I thought, with much relief, for my heart was a’yearning,
My good conscience came against it, but bad prompted.
And so another ten pieces fell out of my pocket, right over God’s good Fence.

(Just as I warned you. :joy:)
